What I love most about award season is looking at all of the gorgeous dresses that the actresses get to wear. But last night while watching the red carpet arrivals at the SAG Awards I was a bit underwhelmed. Hardly anyone took risks and while some dresses were pretty no one stuck out to me. If I got the lucky opportunity to borrow some amazing gown for a night, I would have these as my options:

the balmain pieces seem to fit better than anything!
It really does seem that actors have been more conservative on the red carpet lately. I would love to see Cate Blanchet in that Ferre dress - it's gorgeous!
