Skin Care Giveaway!!

Yes, I am hosting another giveaway (seriously you guys are lucky) but this time I will be giving away a skin care. Look Closer is hosting this giveaway with specialist Perricone Skin Care products. They allowed me to give away one of their best sellers which is the Advanced Face Firming Activator (retails at $120!). This product was featured in magazines such as Vanity Fair, InStyle, and Allure. Oprah loves it as well!

The Advanced Face Firming Activator transforms skin to appear firmer, toned and glowing while it prevents further damage. It visibly resurfaces the skin's texture, reduces the appearance of enlarged pores and leaves a healthy looking complexion.

Other great products from Perricone include the Hydrator which relieves dryness and leaves the skin appearing smoother and healther.

Perricone also has a great online quiz that can help you find the right skin reigmen!

Requirements-
1. This giveaway is open only for U.S. residents.
2. You must tell me your EMAIL ADDRESS in your comment. Entries without one will not be counted.
3. Tell me something in your comment like why do you want this product, why other products didn't work etc.

This contest will end on August 13th, the same day as my other giveaway with chickdowntown.

Chickdowntown Giveaway #2!!

The amazing Chickdowntown let me have another opportunity to host a giveaway for my readers.
If you haven't heard of Chickdowntown then you must check out their website, their list of designers that they carry are incredible (ranging from Wildfox Couture to Balmain!). Some of my favorites is the affordable yet chic BB Dakota or ABS clothing for their wardrobe staples that I would love to add to my wardrobe.

The item that I picked is the BB Dakota Battalion Jacket in Black. This jacket is inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson and has been feature in Teen Vogue and InStyle Magazine.

I also wanted to show how I would style this item and played around with it on polyvore.

HOW TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY
1. Leave a comment on my blog with your EMAIL ADDRESS. Tell me why you like this jacket or what is your ideal fall outfit (using chickdowntown items ;D)
2. Be a Facebook fan of Chickdowntown or follow Amy on Twitter.

This giveway will run up until August 13th. I will then randomly select the winner and contact you by email.
*This is open to U.S. residents only*

fragile eternity

Just some of my favorite photographs that I have stored in large folder on my computer. These all come from the photo of the day thread over at the fashion spot. I've always loved looking at photographs, especially ones with a soft lighting or has a romantic or personal feel to them.

I'd write more but I'm currently in a daze after reading Melissa Marr's Fragile Eternity novel all day because I just had to finish it. Has anyone read the series? I need someone to talk to!

at the moulin rouge you'll have fun

Moulin Rouge is one of those rare films where you get blown away by every single scene. Not only is it a fantastic film but the aesthics and costumes are a whole nother world. One of my dream jobs is to work in costume design for movies such as this one because, lets face it, it is more interesting than to design for a retail store. This movie has so many details in the sets and even the costumes that the extras are wearing look like they can be a part of an haute couture collection. I wish I could have seen this in threaters and experience all of this on the big screen, i'm pretty sure it would make the beautiful atmosphere even more breathtaking.

into the mist

Jessica Stam for the Fendi Fall/Winter Campaign
I've never been much of a fun of Fendi. I haven't seen a full collection of theirs in ages and their ads usually bore me. So imagine my surprise when I saw these photos of Jessica Stam modeling the label. She is perfect for this kind of lighting and I enjoyed these photos much more than I enjoyed her Dior ads. Good job Karl for choosing her as the new face of Fendi.

one choice

Chanel has been either my favorite or one of my favorite designers for a long time now. I admire everything about the Chanel house because of their timeless designs, status, the creation of the little black dress, and for not becoming a victim of modern trends (although Karl did want Chanel to be more youthful...). I remember a few days ago I was reading BryanBoy's blog and he asked his readers to pick one designer that you would only want to wear for the rest of your life. I thought of Chanel first and Yves Saint Laurent second. I'm still deeply in love with YSL but Chanel's Haute Couture collection finalized my choice.

I want to repeat the question from bryan, If you could wear just one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?
