at the moulin rouge you'll have fun

Moulin Rouge is one of those rare films where you get blown away by every single scene. Not only is it a fantastic film but the aesthics and costumes are a whole nother world. One of my dream jobs is to work in costume design for movies such as this one because, lets face it, it is more interesting than to design for a retail store. This movie has so many details in the sets and even the costumes that the extras are wearing look like they can be a part of an haute couture collection. I wish I could have seen this in threaters and experience all of this on the big screen, i'm pretty sure it would make the beautiful atmosphere even more breathtaking.

  3. I totally agree.
costume design is something out of the ordinary and you have to research that era and design accordingly etc.
I have always wanted a bedroom and bathroom decorated in Moulin Rouge vintage boudoir style.
