Some of my favorites is the affordable yet chic BB Dakota or ABS clothing for their wardrobe staples that I would love to add to my wardrobe.
The item that I picked is the BB Dakota Battalion Jacket in Black. This jacket is inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson and has been feature in Teen Vogue and InStyle Magazine.
I also wanted to show how I would style this item and played around with it on polyvore.

ReplyDeletethis jacket is ideal for prefall and fall wardrobe because it reminds me of the balmain jacket s which of course will inspire the fast fashion retailers to keep making them till next year so this i think is a perfect piece to get in on that trend and its so fabulous it would go well with alot of things in my wardrobe
that jacket is so much fun! I would love to see it paired with a really feminine pouf skirt and some killer heels....the jacket has enough of a edge to sass up a really girly look!

ReplyDeleteI would probably pair this with a draped, pleated cream skirt that hits right at the knee to add contrast. I would wear the jacket open with a mid-corset bra under (but the belly button covered due to the highwaisted skirt). Shoes: I'd pick a really girly simple platform sandal with a chunky heel.

I love this jacket. So many times I fall right back to boring and safe clothing... I don't have a lot of money for shopping so I never want to jump out on a limb. I really think I could do a lot with this look, though!

I might pair it with a relaxed Kain T-shirt to contrast the jacket and some j brand jeans (If only I could afford it all!). My favorite fall outfit from chickdowntown would have to be the J Brand Olympia leggings with the chestnut Sam Edelman boots over them, Free People Dreamcatcher Desert Artifacts tank with the knit Plastic Island gray cardigan over it. Complete that outfit with the Vita wrap bracelet in the color that matches the boots and I'm good to go!

I like this jacket for numerous different reasons. It would be the perfect item to jazz up a simple black dress and have an edge to it. It's also the type of jacket with a cute white tee and jeans you could rock with some stilettos. It's great to have a jacket that you can dress accordingly.
