Chanel has been either my favorite or one of my favorite designers for a long time now. I admire everything about the Chanel house because of their timeless designs, status, the creation of the little black dress, and for not becoming a victim of modern trends (although Karl did want Chanel to be more youthful...). I remember a few days ago I was reading BryanBoy's blog and he asked his readers to pick one designer that you would only want to wear for the rest of your life. I thought of Chanel first and Yves Saint Laurent second. I'm still deeply in love with YSL but Chanel's Haute Couture collection finalized my choice.

ReplyDeleteI'd choose McQueen or Givenchy, just because they have a dark glamour, lots of drama, and great separates, so I'd have an outfit for every occasion. But.....hopefully I'll never HAVE to wear just one designer!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Chanel is so timeless. And as much as I love Mr. Jacobs (my fave at the moment) I don't think I could wear him for the rest of my life. I'm going to have to go with DvF.
