I'm one of those people who have about 6 folders filled with inspirational pictures that I come across while searching on the web. I never want to lose these. I thought that I'll share some of them on here.

London Fashion Week Ready-to-Wear Fall 09
The fashion world is way to fast for me. I'm just posting my favorites from London Fashion Week now when already Milan Fashion Week has started. Now I get to gaze over even more fabulous runway outfits that I'll never get to wear.... sigh.

Androgynous on the right, costumes that look like they have been inspired by spacemen on the left.

Holes in knit wear, an amazing take on Balmain shouldered padded splattered top, an asymmetrical designed dress, leather head to toe, cut out sheer tee and more holey knit wear all in one collection. What else does a person need?

I can't take my eyes off of this architectural chain dress and all that fringe.

Futuristic Pucci mixed with a bit of Lanvin structures on the left and patterns that look like it came from nature on the right. The sequined reminds me of lava and the one-shouldered dress looks like textures from a rock.
P.S. I am currently listening to Lovers in Japan from Coldplay. This is my 20th time in the past 2 hours listening to this song. I can't get enough of it.

Jewelry is my favorite part of any outfit. It can take a blank canvas, such as a plain t-shirt, and complete turn it into something different than what you started with. I blame Mary Kate and Ashley's own jewelry collection for causing me to go nuts whenever I see large amounts of accessories together in a store. They always look like they have just been dipped into some celestial box with all of the gorgeous vintage jewelry that they wear. Here is just a few of my favorites:
Their shoes deserve a whole different post. Their collection of Louboutins, Balenciagas, YSLs, and Alaias can cause a fashionista to have a heart attack. Seriously. Lets just take a moment and just stare at MK's Proenza Schouler shoes that she has worn recently.
p.s. I'm thinking of making a post about the collections in London Fashion Week. Might have to wait until the weekend to start it though, school is taking up too much time unfortunately.

iconic
What I would love to do, if possible, would be to travel back to the decades where fashion made history. These are the woman whose style will forever be remembered because they are timeless. They have had looks named after them and even years later the celebrities turn to these women for style inspiration on the red carpet. While their style can not be imitated, well at least to me, I would love nothing more than to walk around looking at glamorous and gorgeous as they do.
Audrey Hepburn
Sophia Loren
My personal favorite, Marilyn Monroe
Andy Warhol's Muse, Edie Sedgwick
Grace Kelly
Bridget Bardot
Jane Birkin
Francoise Hardy
Former first lady, Jackie Kennedy Onassis

(handmade dress, Abaeté for payless shoes)
I made this dress, which took me about a month or so to finish. Damn thing is still big 5 sizes to big though. I had to constantly grab the fabric to make it look like it had shape... Anyways yesterday I had a competition for apparel construction against about 10 or more schools. Somehow, this dress actually qualified me for state . I didn't expect that but I guess I "modeled" it well. At least now I have two months to alter it until I go to state.I also cropped out my face out of the pictures since I looked gross. Its snowing outside and I'm stuck home- thats my excuse.

backstage
There are soo many great photos from Fashion Week that it could probably cover a month worth of blog posting. I can just sit here and go through so many websites like thefashionspot, fashionista, and style.com for hours. This usually ends with about 3 folders filled with inspiration pictures on my computer. But my favorites are all of the behind the scenes and backstages photos of the models. Their personalities come alive and its much more fun to see them goofing around in their coveted designer outfits rather than seeing them walk on the runway with a blank face
P.s. I am loving how crazy active the supporting cast forum is lately. Threads with posts up to 40 minutes old are already on page 5. I love all the craziness of fashion week.
I have a gulity obsession with Polaroids
